Nautical Nonsense Rentals – Terms & Conditions

By renting equipment from Nautical Nonsense Onshore Fishing Charters, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Rental Period

• Rental begins at the time of pickup or delivery and ends at the agreed return time/date.

• Late returns may be subject to additional fees.

2. Payment & Deposit

• Full payment is due prior to or at the time of rental.

• A refundable security deposit may be required for certain items (e.g. golf carts, surfboards, SUPs).

• Any loss or damage will be deducted from the deposit.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund.

• Cancellations within 24–48 hours may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

• No-shows or same-day cancellations are non-refundable.

• Weather-related cancellations will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.

4. Responsibility & Liability

• The renter is responsible for all equipment during the rental period.

• The renter assumes full responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage (beyond normal wear and tear).

• All equipment must be returned in clean and working condition.

• Nautical Nonsense is not liable for any injury, accident, or property damage resulting from the use of rented equipment.

5. Use of Equipment

• All equipment is to be used safely and only for its intended purpose.

• Renters must be at least 18 years old to rent equipment (or have a parent/guardian sign on their behalf).

• Life jackets are strongly recommended for all water-related rentals and are required for minors.

• No equipment may be used under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

6. Damage, Loss, or Theft

• Lost or stolen items will be charged at full replacement value.

• Damaged equipment will be assessed and billed based on repair or replacement costs.

• If equipment is returned excessively dirty (e.g. mud, sand, bait mess), a cleaning fee may apply.

7. Delivery & Pickup (if applicable)

• Delivery and pickup services are available for an additional fee within designated service areas.

• Renter must be present at time of delivery and pickup, unless prior arrangements have been made.

8. Agreement

By signing or agreeing electronically, the renter confirms they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
